This lamp is an addition to the expanding Diesel Living with Lodes line. The versatile selection of objects resulting from the partnership between the historic Italian decorative lighting company Lodes and the international brand DIESEL, owned by the OTB Group, debuted in January 2021. The lamp is the latest creation by the two iconic Italian brands.
A contemporary reinterpretation of a timeless classic, the latest creation from the two Italian brands is an elegant lighting solution characterized by the tubular element of the metal arm that bends back on itself, creating a circle reminiscent of a coil spring. The workmanship resembles the principle of a safety pin making its line minimal and elegant, a distinctive look that recalls the world of fashion. It’s easy to see how Spring adds character to an interior in a residential, workplace, or hospitality setting to add an architectural and bold touch.

The circle formed by bending the bar can be used to adjust the lamp’s position––it can rotate horizontally on the wall for almost 180° or vertically up to almost 360° in the ceiling version. The lampshade rotates 360° allowing light to be directed as desired, offering multiple solutions for lighting the surrounding space.
This allows the lamp to create starkly different moods. Point it downwards to create a feature spotlight on an object or for more functional purposes like reading a book; point it upwards to bounce light off the ceiling for a softer glow in the living space; point it towards the wall to bounce light horizontally, another way to establish a soothing vibe in the home.

The large semi-circular metal lampshade has a contrasting opal white diffuser that softens the light, giving the lamp a contemporary look. Thanks to the shape of the hole in the back of the shade, a light glow is produced that tempers and softens the darkness of the space. The Spring lamp completes the Diesel Living with Lodes collection with an unusual function that has a striking architectural impact.
Spring comes in 2 different sizes and can be wall or ceiling-mounted. The large size has an arm over 2 meters long, whereas the medium size has an arm over 1 meter long. The medium size would be ideal for residential spaces in the living or dining room and a home office, while the larger size lends itself to co-working and restaurant spaces.
The lamp is extremely versatile and can be rotated on itself from the socket when wall-mounted, horizontally, or ceiling-mounted by directing the arm along the vertical axis. Available in a single Deep Black finish, the Spring lamp makes a bold statement in any setting.
