Start the journey of exploration through the largely untouched 600-foot generator floor, also known as the cathedral of power. Experience the legacy of the iconic building at every turn of the tunnel. LET’S EXPLORE THE TUNNEL

The Niagara Parks Power Station comes to life at night with Currents: Niagara’s Power Transformed. Think interactive, mesmerizing, breathtaking musicals along the way as you become part of the awe-inspiring sequences of Currents, rediscovering the incredible history of this building from an extraordinary perspective.

Explore the vast underground portions and access the historic Tailrace Tunnel by transporting 180-feet below the ground floor of the power station to the tunnel wheelpit through a glass-walled elevator. Observe the view of the underground floors of the station during the descent, and we promise you are in for a surprise. From the wheelpit, the 2,200-foot journey begins. A journey to a spectacular new viewing platform that extends into the river, overlooking the panoramic view of the lower Niagara Gorge.

As you near the exit portal located at the base of the Niagara Gorge, get ready to step outside onto a whole new platform that extends into the lower Niagara River. Immerse into the surrounding environment with unobstructed panoramic views that reveal the full height and scale of the majestic Niagara Falls. As cruise ships pass by and mist cascades over the platform, you can take in the views that extend from the Horseshoe to the American Falls.
