The limited edition of the Vanity Fair XC armchair, part of the 2024 Poltrona Frau Imagine Collection, is set to become a collector's item with its surreal design and exquisite craftsmanship.
Iconic Design Reimagined
The Vanity Fair XC, with a lineage tracing back to 1930, has been a symbol of Italian design for nearly a century. The original design by Renzo Frau has been the cornerstone of Poltrona Frau's collection, and in its latest incarnation, it pays homage to Fornasetti's celestial imagery. The sun and moon rise over swirling clouds, a design conceived in the 50s by Piero Fornasetti and reinterpreted for the contemporary eye by Barnaba Fornasetti, maintaining the soul of the brand while propelling it into a new era.
The design is composed of a sun and a moon rising over swirling clouds, a visual tribute to the 2024 Poltrona Frau Imagine Collection that will be presented during the Salone del Mobile.

At the heart of this edition lies the pioneering technique of digital printing on Pelle Frau® Impact Less leather. Poltrona Frau has elevated the process to an art form, utilizing silkscreen methods for the first time to impart a unique tactile sensation. The Vanity Fair XC Imagine Reality Edition is the first release of the upcoming Imagine collection, which will be presented at the Salone del Mobile in April 2024.

The Vanity Fair XC Imagine Reality Edition will be available for pre-order online from February 15th, 2024, with orders commencing in select Poltrona Frau stores worldwide on April 10th, 2024. Each of the 50 pieces in this series will be individually numbered and accompanied by an exclusive leather clutch, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a special edition leather key-chain, making each purchase a truly exclusive acquisition.
