FORGET ME NOT CAFE || A Korean Lifestyle Shop and Cafe Tucked Away in Toronto's Fashion District
Forget Me Not Cafe was the perfect hideaway for a late afternoon pick-me-up on a cold spring day.
Just steps from a dog park and children's playground, Forget Me Not in Toronto's Fashion District is the perfect hangout for friends and families.
The cafe offers more than just caffeine and coffee beans; it's also a lifestyle shop with jewelry and other locally made items you can shop while sipping on your coffee.
The layout is interesting because there are a variety of cozy nooks throughout. I picked a spot by the window so I could people-watch, but at the back of the cafe, past the counter, three separate spaces provide more privacy. The room furthest from the entrance is furnished with a comfortable couch for bigger groups to hang out. As I wandered the shop, some were studying, others were catching up, and some were like me, zoning out solo.

Shelves decorated with cards, trinkets and jewelry are integrated throughout the space, so don't say I didn't warn you that you'll likely make an impulse buy. I, for one, came out with a pair of earrings and a necklace. From simple designs to zodiac rings and colourful resin earrings to beaded necklaces, the wide range of curated artisan goods has something that speaks to every style.
Shelves stocked with local artisan goods are spread across the shop, so you can browse at your leisure.
The cafe is clearly a favourite neighbourhood haunt, because during my short visit, regulars stopped by for their coffee to chat with the baristas, and families stopped to chat at the entrance with their kids and pets at their side. Others sat outside catching the last rays of sunshine.

Forget Me Not Cafe is a great little spot to spend the afternoon. We'd recommend it for its comfortable ambiance and unique gifts (for friends or to treat yourself!)
