It’s about offering variety and choice, It’s also a way to give our guests the opportunity to try new classes and different trainers and coaches they may not otherwise have had the chance to experience.

Are you ready to break a serious sweat?

Gone are the days when gyms were expected to have just treadmills, weight machines, mats and towels. Fitness facilities now also embrace wellness as a key element of their offerings.

The quality of talent in Vancouver is by any measure world-class – we thought it made sense that the place they workout should also be world-class,
— Westbank founder Ian Gillespie says.

As you step into the mega-fitness space, your eyes will be instantly drawn by a massive plant wall that adds an air of freshness and liveliness, with natural light pouring in from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The moment you step into House Concepts is the moment when your soul is awakened by nature, reminding you that wellness truly matters.

Every refinement is carefully crafted to achieve a minimalist aesthetic.

House Concepts’ minimalist interior design with a touch of artsy vibe adds to the allure of going to the gym. The colours used in the studio is meticulously curated - black, associated with strength and power from a psychological perspective is the dominant shade used in the hallway and rooms; the walls of the well-lit bathrooms features off-white colour and floral prints, allowing you to find a sense of calm after unleashing your inner beast. Last but not least, the atrium is in grey which exudes an effortlessly cool and sophisticated vibe.

You can choose from a broad selection of classes based on your needs.

Wellbeing is about so much more than fitness - that’s something at the core of House, but at the end of the day I think wellbeing is about being healthy, active and happy. We introduce nutrition, explore mental wellness and look for ways to inspire people and bring joy,

House Concepts also collaborated with other renowned brands such as Lululemon and Alo Yoga to launch various collections of activewear, workout equipment and accessories to empower and strengthen Vancouver’s fitness enthusiasts from the inside and out.

Additional features include a retail boutique, luxury changeroom amenities and a state-of-the-art sound system.

I participated in a pilates lesson in which the instructor was encouraging and observant enough to offer modifications for my moves, making sure a beginner like me was on the right track. I was left with sweat but heavy doses of contentment - the lesson ended with cooldown exercises as Taylor Swift’s All Too Well played in a completely dark room after an intense workout.

I thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of invigorating exhaustion after the workout. Whether you are a hardcore workout enthusiast who wants to aim higher or are a beginner looking to start a fresh new chapter with fitness, I recommend paying a visit to House Concepts here to surround yourself with those who will bring out the best in you.
