There’s nothing quite as soothing as a pale colour palette, especially when it is inspired by nature. In contrast with the rusticity of wood, stone gives a cooler feeling. Yet by incorporating a mix of these two raw elements, the interior achieves contrasting sensations. The resort embodies the essence of Zen in an architectural form.

Idmen utilizes muted colours to let light and shadow create depth and ambience for the space. The giant glass windows allow the sun’s rays to enter the room throughout the day to bring warmth in the daytime and offer a calming vibe as the sun sets in this idyllic environment.

On the other hand, the shadows of the natural home décor such as large bonsai trees with playful branches further accentuate muted colours in the roomy space. The designer’s philosophy “Freedom in emptiness” is vividly embodied through an enchanting story told from the outside.
